Our Monthly Meetings

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.00 p.m. unless otherwise stated at Worle Community Centre, Lawrence Road, Worle BS22 6TN.  Lawrence Rd is off the High Street, the turning next to the Lamb Inn.  All welcome. Members £2, visitors £3.

Saturday 19th September 10-4        Heritage Open Day at St Martins Church - Please join us at this free event. 

 

 

 

Tuesday 1st Sept           A short AGM Followed by an evening of local Folk Music - History of local folk songs,                                            a chance to sing and maybe a glass of cider. Doors open 6.30 you can take out

                                      membership on the night - £5 and talks for members are £2 each, visitors £3 a talk.                                            

 

Tuesday 6th October     Boggy Mears and Quechy Fennes with Barrie Underwood

 

Tuesday 3rd Novembe  The Mead Family - from farming in Worle to the present day by Melissa

Our Programme Team

Melissa enjoys attending various history talks, often with Julie and Nadine.  

Also enjoys exploring the local area often with a camera. 

Dave is our Walks Organiser and also offers interesting walks for schools.
