Our Monthly Meetings

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.00 p.m. unless otherwise stated at Worle Community Centre, Lawrence Road, Worle BS22 6TN.  Lawrence Rd is off the High Street, the turning next to the Lamb Inn.  All welcome. Members £2, visitors £3.

Tuesday      Sept           A short AGM Followed by an evening of local Folk Music - History of local folk songs.                                              A chance to sing and maybe a glass of cider.

Tuesday 3rd Novembe  The Mead Family - from farming in Worle to the present day by Melissa

Heritage Open Days - September

 

We will be taking part again this year! - Last year we opened up the War Memorial in the High Street, this year will be somewhere different. Watch this space!

Melissa enjoys attending various history talks, often with Julie and Nadine.  

Also enjoys exploring the local area often with a camera. 

Dave is our Walks Organiser and also offers interesting walks for schools.
