Saturday Pop-Up at Worle Library
We met at Worle Library on Saturday to look through Ron Bailey,s Mendip Lore articles and John Baileys Round About Somerset Articles from the Weston Mercury. Ron wrote over 600 articles about Somerset. We learnt a lot and new ideas for research.
Next Meeting
Tuesday 3rd March (7pm) at Worle Community Centre - Julie and Melissa will be your hosts for the evening along with Sally-Kay Turner.
The evening will be sharing with you a small selection of Sally-Kay`s photographs of Worle and the local area. During the 1980s onwards Sally thoughfully took hundreds of our local buildings and people at the height of development and buildings being pulled down.
We have spent a long time sorting and carfully putting them together for us to enjoy.
We cannot wait to show you.
