Mendip Green School

 

This building is now Worle Library and Childrens Centre. The School has had many names including Worle Infants, Greenwood School and Mendip Green. The new Mendip Green School was built however they still used this building for many years. 

 

 

 

St Martins School - Spring Hill

Opened as a Secondary Modern then later a junior school it is now a primary school.

Priory School

 

Priory Community School is now part of the Priory Learing Trust.

Mr Spencer was the first Headmaster.  Opened in 1977 after 2 years in portacabins at Worle Secondary School. 

 

Its with graet sadness that Mr Arthur Spencer passed away November 2005 aged 104 he was remarkable man and a great Head Master of Priory School when it first opened. 

 

Mr Spencer is on the left of the picture with another great Head Teacher Mr Gilbert who was head teacher at St Martins Jnr School. This photo of the two heads was taken at Worle History Society event.
