Wednesday 10th May Members Open Day.  10.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m. at 2 The Dell, Worle, BS22 9LZ.  Archives and Library will be available for research or just for your interest.  Coffee and Tea.
Wednesday 10th May Research Group Meeting.  7.00 p.m. at 2 The Dell.  Planning for the St Martin's Church Interior Memorials evening.  future plans. Members of WHS are all welcome to join us.

 

Monday 15th May

Committee Meeting.  2.00 p.m.  Hill Road East. Preview of 2018 calendar at start.

 

Thursday 1st June

Monthly Meeting. Venue:  Worle Community Centre, Lawrence Road, Worle at 7.00 p.m. A very close look at Worle High Street through time with maps and photos galore.  Raye Green.  Please bring any items of interest to share.

Committee Meeting.  2.00 p.m. Hill Road East.

 

Wednesday 21st June

A Summer Special meeting at St. Martin's Church.    7.00 p.m. Our research group have been working hard to investigate the background to the 43 memorials in our lovely old church

Free entry, but there will be a donation bucket.  Proceeds to be shared with St. Martin's Church.

 

Thursday  6th July

Monthly Meeting.  Venue:  Worle Community Centre, Lawrence Road, Worle at 7.00 p.m.

Lovely relaxed evening.  Our Calendar Boys, Tony and John will be introducing the calendar for 2018, followed by Dave Hart who will give a foretaste of our annual summer walk.

Monday 17th July

Committee Meeting.  2.00 p.m. Hill Road East.  Planning for walk and AGM

 

Thursday  3rd August

Annual Summer Walk.  6.30 p.m. from the Woolpack pub in St. Georges.  Dave is taking us on an amble along the course of the River Banwell and then back to the pub for supper.

Walk with pamphlet £2.50 each but supper is up to you.  Always a great evening.  Do join us.
