Meet the research team

Peter Johnson Frank Gosden and Nadine Kilvington Raye Green
As a history society we would love to investigate everything from the Domesday Book to yesterday. We certainly hope that members and non-members will contribute anything they possess that is of interest. Please contact us or come to open meetings with photos, documents, anything that is evidence from the past.
We have some exciting new projects underway, which mad members have suggested and volunteered to research.
- Peter Johnson has produced a wonderful colour version of the the mid 19th century tithe map of the parish of Worle, as well as a pamphlet about maps of the area, old and new, and their various strengths and weaknesses.
- Derek Venn is spending his summer tying up the relationship between the tithes and the census returns.
- David Hart, who is a walker and cyclist, is studying the Lanes and Byways.
