'1953: Life in Worle' book launch at Worle Library was great fun. My son, Nick Smart, took hundreds of photos before getting a few of me looking human. The picture below shows my grand daughter, Sophie, who designed the website.

  • Sincere thanks to Mr Press at Avenue Cleaners in the High Street, who has valiently volunteered to 'be my Waterstones' and put the leaflets and a sample of the book on his counter.
  • Books are now in stock, just ring for your copy.
  • So far we have sold 170 copies, which is heartening.

Many thanks to those of you who have taken the trouble to phone or email with your lovely comments, and equal thanks to anyone who hated it and decided not to phone.
